The tee shot on this hole must require a right-to-left shot as the hole sweeps downhill to the left and any shot to the right of the fairway may be a lost ball.  The second shot will be played on a downhill lie with a downhill shot. Players usually will play one less club for their second shot. There is plenty of room on the right of the green and an easier up and down. The green slopes back to front and is guarded by two bunkers on the left side of the green.
